Dra. Liliana Souza

Psychologist and Doctor of Science in Collective Health from the UAM-Xochimilco. Specialist in: 1. "Psychosocial actions in situations of Political Violence and Catastrophes", by the Community Action Group (GAC), the Complutense University of Madrid and the School of Mental Health of the Spanish Association of Neuropsychiatry; and 2. "Psychosocial Supervision", by the Community Studies and Psychosocial Action Team, the Universidad del Valle de Guatemala and the German Association for Psychosocial Supervision.

He has been a teacher in the Bachelor of Social Psychology at the UAM-Iztapalapa and in the Bachelor of Forensic Science, at the Faculty of Medicine of the UNAM.

He has 16 years of professional work in human rights organizations in support of victims and relatives of victims of torture, kidnapping, arbitrary detention, forced displacement, gender violence, executions, and in exhumation processes. And he is an expert in investigating allegations of torture based on the UN Istanbul Protocol.

Today it provides psychological services and clinical and psychosocial supervision in various organizations, including Article 19, in support of journalists, and the Fray Matías de Córdova Human Rights Center, in support of migrants and refugee applicants. Finally, she is an external consultant for the Impulse Group against Immigration Detention and Torture.
