Lic. Carolina Carreño Nigenda.

Graduated from the Bachelor of Psychology from the UNAM, she has a Diploma in International Trauma and Biopsychosocial Decoding from the Institute of Transgenerational Studies and the Swiss Institute of Psychotrauma and in Psychopathology from the Continuing Education Division of the UNAM Faculty of Psychology; as well as various courses in Socio-affective Transformation of Conflicts, Training in Family Violence, Sexuality among others.

She is co-author of publications such as “Legal and social perspective of the detention of migrants in Iztapalapa, Federal District and Tenosique”, “Being a migrant does not make me a criminal. Situation of people in detention in the immigration stations of Iztapalapa "," The route of the confinement. Situation of people in detention in immigration stations and temporary stays ”.

In the workplace, she has collaborated with the Cuauhtémoc Comprehensive Women's Support Center (CIAM), the Gustavo A. Madero Women's Institute (formerly CIAM), the Comprehensive Training Center with AC Shelter, Cáritas Superación Humana y Social IAP. María Reparadora Listening Center, AC Educational Cultural Project Currently Deputy Coordinator of the Psychosocial Accompaniment area of Sin Fronteras IAP, providing care to migrants and refugees with the aim of redefining the experiences of violence, promoting physical and mental health care.
